free upgradefriendly staff
The room was very clean. I even got a free upgrade (I was so excited!). The staff was really friendly, and check-in was easy, even carrying my case up several stairs. An extra heater was provided, perfect for the winter season.
The room needed a fan since there was no air conditioning and it was really hot (seemed like a sauna!).

the staff were really helpful! they gave excellent directions to local attractions. the location was amazing, right near transport links. i found the bar area to be lively and fun!
My room faced the street, and i noticed some noise at night. Earplugs helped, but quieter windows would be great!

The hotel bar was a real treat! it had a solid selection of ales. the bar also serves classic pub fare. The kitchen stays open until pretty late too, useful!
