central location clean room helpful staff lively pub
the location WAS central, near the Arndale shopping center. My room was clean. The staff was helpful upon check-in and carried my luggage. the pub downstairs was lively.
The walls felt thin. I heard noise from nearby rooms, a little disruptive.

non-functional television dusty kettle
The location was convenient to the tram. The staff were helpful during check-in.
My room lacked a window. There also was no wardrobe. Only coat hooks were provided on the bathroom door. The television did not function, and a thick layer of dust coated the kettle.

easy check-in room upgrade pillow bugs wall bugs
the lady at check-in assisted with my luggage up the stairs, i appreciated that. i also got a room upgrade at no extra cost. it had everything i needed in the room.
i realized too late that there were bugs in the pillows. i noticed bugs on the walls as well, it detracted from my experience.

free upgrade friendly staff
The room was very clean. I even got a free upgrade (I was so excited!). The staff was really friendly, and check-in was easy, even carrying my case up several stairs. An extra heater was provided, perfect for the winter season.
The room needed a fan since there was no air conditioning and it was really hot (reminded me of a sauna!).

helpful staff excellent direction lively bar
the staff were really helpful! they gave excellent directions to local attractions. the location was amazing, right near transport links. i found the bar area to be lively and fun!
My room faced the street, and i noticed some noise at night. Earplugs helped, but quieter windows would be great!
